Personal Training for Adults Over 50 in Vancouver, WA
Private, one-on-one strength, balance and flexibility training in downtown Vancouver.
Getting older doesn't have to mean slowing down
Carrying groceries up the stairs. Getting down on the floor with the grandkids and back up again. Traveling, gardening, hiking, or simply feeling steady on your feet. Strength, balance, and flexibility are what keep you independent, and the good news is they can be built at any age.
At TruFit Personal Fitness, owner Ron Bryan works with adults in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond. He's a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) with more than 20 years of experience helping people move better, feel stronger, and train with confidence.
No generic workouts. No trying to keep up with a class. Just focused, one-on-one training built around your body, your history, and what you want to keep doing for years to come.

“Fitness is the path to the fountain of youth. It is the key to aging gracefully.”
— Ron Bryan
Why train one-on-one after 50
Every body has a history. Old injuries, stiff joints, and years of habits all shape how you move today, and they should shape how you train.
1. Training that fits your body today. Ron looks at how you move, what feels stiff or limited, and what you want to be able to do. Every exercise is adjusted to where you are right now, not where you were twenty years ago.
2. Form that keeps you safe. Most setbacks come from moving the wrong way under load. Ron teaches you how to move well first, so you can build strength with confidence and without unnecessary strain.
3. No intimidating gym floor. It's just you and Ron in a private space. No crowds, no waiting for equipment, and no pressure to keep up with anyone else.

What Ron focuses on
Training after 50 isn't about chasing the hardest workout. It's about building the things that keep you capable, confident, and independent:
Strength, to protect your joints and make everyday tasks easier
Balance, to feel steady and confident on your feet
Flexibility and mobility, to move more freely and ease stiffness
Posture, to stand taller and put less strain on your back and neck
Energy and mood, because exercise does as much for your mind as your body
If you have a health condition, a past injury, or haven't exercised in a while, check with your doctor before starting a new program. Ron is happy to work within any guidance they give you.
